The Mid-Level Data Scientist will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to build and deploy GenAI use cases and applications in the entry phase of the project. The customer is in the experimental phase with data analytics and GenAI, requiring hands-on leadership in guiding the development process. The candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, back-end and front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and Business Analysts to ensure that the team delivers scalable and impactful GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities:

Lead GenAI Use Case Development:

• Drive the development of GenAI applications from experimentation to production, focusing on identifying opportunities for AI-driven innovation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into GenAI solutions.

• Lead the research, design, and implementation of AI models (NLP, predictive analytics, etc.) that address specific customer requirements.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

• Lead a team that includes Data Engineers (DE), Data Analysts (DA), back-end and front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and Business Analysts (BA).

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

• Oversee and coordinate the integration of AI models into applications, ensuring collaboration between all team members (e.g., UI/UX, front-end, back-end).

Data-Driven Experimentation:

• Experiment with various machine learning and AI algorithms to assess their potential for solving customer problems.

• Use data analytics to test hypotheses and fine-tune models during the experimental phase.

• Ensure the use of best practices in data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

• Engage with customers to define business problems and opportunities for GenAI applications.

• Present findings, insights, and the business value of GenAI solutions to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.

• Partner with the Business Analysts (BAs) to ensure business goals are well-reflected in the technical solutions.

Project Management:

• Manage project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met according to the project plan.

• Monitor and adjust development phases based on experimentation results and evolving customer needs.

• Collaborate with customers in HCM and internal teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations.

• Deliver actionable insights and reports derived from AI models to customers and internal stakeholders.

Project Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain thorough documentation of GenAI use case development, including technical documentation, model specifications, and user guides.

• Regularly report progress to stakeholders, including experiment results, model performance, and timelines.
