Role Description
The AWS Solutions & Partnership Manager will be responsible for managing AWS partnerships, securing AWS funding approvals (MAP and other incentive programs), and ensuring the successful adoption of AWS solutions for TechX customers. This role will involve close collaboration with AWS teams, TechX’s sales and engineering units, and customers to drive AWS adoption through cloud migration, data & analytics, AI/ML, and security solutions.
The role will also focus on internal AWS knowledge management by curating AWS-related content, training teams, and developing an AWS knowledge chatbot for TechX employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaboration
2. AWS Partnership & Funding Management
- Lead and manage AWS funding programs, including:
- AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) approval process.
- AWS Promotional Credits & Proof-of-Concept (PoC) funding for customer engagements.
- AWS co-sell and incentive programs to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Work with AWS teams to secure approvals for MAP and funding opportunities by aligning customer use cases with AWS requirements.
- Ensure compliance with AWS partner funding guidelines and report funding utilization to AWS.
- Track AWS partner funding opportunities, rebates, and incentive programs, ensuring TechX maximizes available resources.
- Engage with AWS Partner Account Managers and Partner Solution Architects to strengthen TechX’s AWS engagement.
3. AWS Solution Consulting for Customers
- Assess customer needs and propose AWS-based solutions, covering:
- Cloud Migration & Modernization (AWS Landing Zone, EC2, RDS, S3).
- Security & Compliance (AWS IAM, Security Hub, AWS WAF, Backup & Disaster Recovery).
- Data & Analytics (AWS Redshift, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Data Lake solutions).
- AI & Machine Learning (AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Personalize, Contact Center AI).
- Networking & Connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, VPC, Transit Gateway).
- Act as an AWS trusted advisor, guiding customers on cloud adoption, cost optimization, and architecture best practices.
- Drive AWS Well-Architected Reviews (WARs) to ensure customers follow AWS best practices and qualify for AWS funding.
- Collaborate with TechX’s sales, data, and engineering teams to develop and deploy AWS-based solutions for customers.
- Ensure AWS solutions align with TechX’s AI, DevOps, and cloud transformation strategies.
4. AWS Funding & Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) Approval Process
- Own the end-to-end AWS MAP application process, ensuring that customers meet eligibility criteria.
- Work closely with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to prepare business cases, documentation, and technical validation for MAP funding.
- Coordinate Well-Architected Reviews (WARs) and other AWS compliance steps needed for MAP approval.
- Provide technical and business justification for AWS funding requests to maximize TechX’s AWS support.
- Track and optimize AWS incentive utilization, ensuring compliance with AWS funding guidelines.
5. Internal AWS Knowledge Management & AI Chatbot Development
- Develop an internal AWS knowledge base for TechX employees, focusing on AWS solutions, funding opportunities, and best practices.
- Build an AWS-focused AI chatbot to provide real-time guidance on AWS services, MAP funding eligibility, and technical best practices.
- Conduct regular AWS enablement sessions for internal teams, ensuring they understand AWS cloud services, pricing models, and funding programs.
- Work with AWS and internal teams to curate best practices, funding workflows, and go-to-market (GTM) playbooks for AWS solutions.
6. Business Development & AWS GTM Execution
- Identify AWS business opportunities and drive AWS solution sales.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales to develop AWS-focused campaigns, events, and content to generate leads.
- Support AWS-related proposal writing and sales presentations for customers.
- Work with TechX’s AI and Data teams to integrate AWS services into TechX’s cloud, data, and AI offerings.
7. Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track AWS business growth, solution adoption, and funding utilization.
- Optimize AWS solution delivery by aligning best practices with customer needs.
- Engage regularly with AWS to review partnership performance and drive AWS revenue growth.
