Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and deploying robust integration architectures and APIs. You'll work on mission-critical applications, collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure seamless service delivery. This position is perfect for a motivated individual who wants to take the lead on integration projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to both our technical capabilities and sales initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Work with the team to architect and design integration architecture at different levels 

• Consult and support the project team to incorporate the integration architecture into overall enterprise architecture.

• Design the API, and integration interface according to the requirements provided by the customer

• Develop the API, and integration interface following the defined coding standards

• Work with customer and internal QA team to fix bug

• Provide support for production environment preparation and live

• Complete development following coding standards and best practices.

• Review code developed by junior integration engineers.

• Take the lead and be responsible for the quality and delivery of the integration works.

Support sales activities:

• Support Client Success throughout the sales activities including presentations, proposal build, demo, POC workshops, bidding material preparation and technical materials to convince customers to use TechX services or products. 

Capabilities and competencies build:

• Achieve mandatory certificates as agreed and aligned with the company's core competency plan. 

• Attend the mandatory training programs for personal skill development. 

Key Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in a Software Engineer position

• Strong experience with Python or Go 

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Echo (or similar frameworks).

• Solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture. 

• Familiarity with Docker and container-based development. 

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, SQS, SNS). 

• Working knowledge of AWS services. 

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and environments. 

• Ability to assist with designing integration architecture, including data flow, technical design documents, and basic integration specifications.  

• Awareness of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira Software and Confluence). 

• Good problem-solving, communication, presentation & teamwork skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with an API Gateway platform (eg., IBM Integration Bus or Mulesoft AnyPoint)

• Basic experience or strong interest in AI/LLM-based systems.
