Job Description:

As a Data Architect at TechX, you will play a vital role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data architectures that power mission-critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, secure, and structured for advanced analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data architectures (data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes) on cloud platforms.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards across multiple environments.
  
• Optimize data models and pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  
• Lead the adoption of modern data platforms and best practices in data engineering and architecture.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
  
  

Key Requirements:

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale data solutions in enterprise or BFSI domains is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure is a plus).
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and building data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Scala/Java)
• Familiarity with data lakehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).

Visualization Tools:

• Knowledge of BI/visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight).

Analytical Skills:

• Strong ability to design scalable solutions that balance performance, cost, and security.

Communication & Problem-Solving:

• Excellent collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex data challenges.
