Role Overview:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions in both Data and AI-driven projects. You will be responsible for eliciting and analyzing requirements, defining functional specifications, and ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical thinking, familiarity with data management and AI/ML concepts, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across business, technical, and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for data and AI initiatives.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for AI-enabled automation and data-driven solutions.
• Define success criteria, KPIs, and expected outcomes for AI and data projects.

• Analyze data sources, data quality, and business processes to identify opportunities for AI integration and advanced analytics.
• Support feasibility assessments for AI applications such as intelligent assistants, workflow automation, risk detection, and operational optimization.
• Conduct impact analysis to ensure alignment of AI and data solutions with business processes and compliance requirements.

Solution Design & Documentation

• Work with data engineers, AI engineers, and data scientists to define solution approaches, including data flows, transformation logic, and AI model integration.
• Document business processes, functional requirements, and workflows for both AI and data projects.
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between business users, data engineers, AI engineers, and IT teams.
• Support product owners and project managers in prioritizing features and managing backlogs for AI and data initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment and solution adoption.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for AI and data solutions.
• Validate outputs (e.g., predictions, classifications, automated decisions) against business expectations.
• Ensure ethical use of AI and compliance with company and client policies.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in IT industry, with at least 1 years in Business Analyst roles on data and/or AI projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Data Expertise: Strong knowledge of data management, data modeling, ETL, and data governance.
• AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (e.g., NLP, intelligent automation, anomaly detection, optimization models). Hands-on exposure to applied AI in business processes is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data querying. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Exposure to AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI) is a plus.
• Business Knowledge: Experience in banking operations and processes, including areas such as retail banking, corporate banking, risk & compliance, or payment systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication (English & Vietnamese), problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable to unstructured environments.
