Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect (Presales Focus) to own the technical and governance integrity of Synaptix solutions during customer engagements. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, IT operations, and risk governance. You will work closely with customer architecture teams, IT operations leaders, and internal presales teams to design safe, governed, and realistic architectures using Synaptix.

Synaptix - TechX’s AIOps platform that delivers operational intelligence, including anomaly detection, incident correlation and automated root-cause analysis (RCA) — to support CloudOps and DevOps workflows.

This is not a sales role. You will not carrry a quota, negotiate pricing, or close deals. Your focus is architecture, positioning accuracy and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Integration Ownership (Core):

• Design customer-specific Synaptix architectures, including: Read-only data ingestion; overlay positioning across existing tools

• Map customer use cases to: Synaptix functional capabilities; license levels and constraints

• Clearly articulate and enforce boundaries between: Intelligence vs execution, Recommendation vs action.

• Validate feasibility, safety, and governance alignment of proposed solutions

Governance, Risk & Positioning Defense (Critical):

• Lead and defend Synaptix architecture in: Architecture Review Boards (ARB/DAB), Risks & complienace discussions

• Explain and reinforce: Human-in-the-loop controls, Auditability, traceability and accountability

• Confidently push back and say "no" to: Unsafe automation requests, Governance bypass attempts, Misue or misinterpretation of AI capabilities

• Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive presales topics (but not full Principal scope)

Presales Execution & Customer Engagement:

• Lead technical discovery sessions independently

• Own solution shaping for POC/pilot engagaments: Scope definition, Architecture validation, Risk identification

• Partner closely with Account Managers on: Technical solution shaping, Positioning clarity (explicitly not selling or negotiating)

• Ensure consistency across customer-facing materials and narratives

Enablement & Quality Control:

• Provide guidance and informal mentoring to: Junior Presales/Junior SA (L1)

• Review and validate: Architecture diagrams, Presales decks, POC approaches (for risk & positioning accuracy)

• Share structured field feedback with Product & Enablement teams (input, not roadmap ownership)

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in the field, with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect, Presales Engineer, Enterprise IT, Platform, SRE, or Operations role, including customer-facing exposure

• Hands-on experience with Enterprise IT Architecture, ITSM, Incident Management, or Operations Platforms; Monitoring and observability Ecosystems.

• Strong ability to explain complex technical systems in clear, structued, business-safe language

• Comfortable engaging with: Architecture teams, IT Operations leaders, Risk and Compliance stakeholders

• Solid understanding of governance-driven environments and trade-offs between: Speed vs safety; Innovation vs control

• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining architecture documents, diagrams, and other technical documentation

• Technically confident, but disciplined and responsible

• Comfortable saying "no" when requests are unsafe or misaligned

• Curious, structured and principled in customer engagements
