Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML Architect to own the technical foundation of our agentic AI platform. You will define the reference architecture for our multi-agent, RAG-based system, set model and evaluation governance standards, and make the key build decisions the platform depends on. This is a hands-on leadership role for an architect who can both design the blueprint and guide engineers in delivering production-grade, auditable GenAI systems for enterprise and regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end reference architecture for the agentic platform: model/LLM strategy, RAG design, agent orchestration, and tool-use patterns.

• Define model governance: model selection (cloud and local / open-weight), evaluation approach, quality gates, versioning, and traceability.

• Set architecture standards for security, human-in-the-loop (HITL), audit logging, and data control in regulated enterprise deployments.

• Make build-vs-buy and infrastructure decisions across cloud and on-premise execution environments.

• Guide and review the work of runtime, RAG/data, and platform engineers to ensure architectural consistency.

• Partner with Solution Engineering, Product, and cloud-alliance teams to translate customer use cases into a scalable reference design.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years in ML/AI engineering, with 2+ years in an architect or technical-lead capacity.

• Proven track record designing and shipping Generative AI / RAG / agentic systems in production.

• Deep understanding of RAG, agentic frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, DeepSearch, and evaluation methodology.

• Strong hands-on experience with LangChain / LlamaIndex and vector databases (Qdrant, ChromaDB, OpenSearch, Pinecone).

• Solid understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and modern agent tool-use patterns.

• Experience with AI platforms - Azure AI, Vertex AI; bonus for AWS Bedrock / SageMaker — and self-hosted inference (vLLM, llama.cpp, GGUF models).

• Experience designing for security, governance, audit, and HITL in regulated environments (BFSI, government) is a strong plus.

• Strong computer science foundation; proficiency with REST API, gRPC, WebSocket, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

• Excellent communication skills to align engineering, product, and customer stakeholders around an architecture vision.
